Mrs. Martin began training in 1991 under the instruction of Grandmaster Robert Hardin. She began her teaching career in 1992 by assisting him with various children’s programs in Nashville, TN and later assisted other instructors in their programs as well as developing several small clubs until February 2006 when she was able to open her own full-time school, Hernando Taekwondo, in Hernando, MS. Her goal is to help others get the most out of life.
Mrs. Martin’s husband, John, is also a 4th degree black belt and helps in the school. They have two beautiful children, Lance and Lexie.
Mrs. Martin completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Exercise Science in 2002. She is also an Ace Certified Personal trainer and a licensed massage therapist.
Mrs. Martin is very active in the CTF and a strong competitor. Some of her accomplishments include:
