Tony Lewis began his martial arts training in January 1991. He earned his 1st degree Black Belt under Troy Eden in August, 1993 and received his 5th Degree Black Belt June 4, 2005. Mr. Lewis currently trains with Grandmaster Robert Hardin and Mr. Louie Aregis (6th Degree Black Belt). Mr. Lewis also holds a 3rd degree black belt in Hapkido with Master Chris Garland. Mr. Lewis is the owner and chief instructor of Dickson Taekwondo, which he purchased in January of 1995. In 1997 he built a new facility and added a sand filled volleyball court in 1999 for extra curricular activities. In 2007 he added another work out area and expanded the dressing rooms and waiting area.
Mr. Lewis was a designer at Southern Gage from which he resigned to become a full time instructor. He is married with three children. He is a past member of the Lions Club and the Child Advocacy Board. Mr. Lewis is a graduate of the Dickson County Chamber of Commerce Leadership Program and is past president of the Leadership Dickson County Alumni Association. He is also a member and vice president of the High Noon Rotary club. He enjoys fishing and hunting.
